Fall season is almost here! 

Check out the important dates below so you can be ready for the new season to start.  Now includes Regatta dates!

*August 18th- MANDATORY varsity parent and athlete meeting
*August 23rd- First day of Varsity Practice
*Sept. 6th- Day off, holiday
*Sept. 7th-First day of Novice Practice
**Sept. 9th- Last Day Varsity Registration is accepted
**Sept. 10th- Final Varsity Roster Published
** Sept. 16th- Last Day Novice Registration is accepted
**Sept. 17th- CBRC Final Roster Complete
**Sept. 17th- Athlete overnight, at the CBRC boathouse.  After practice

         until Saturday 10:30am

 

Regatta Dates:

**Oct. 3rd:  Tail of the Lake, Seattle WA
**Oct. 16th:  American Lake Fall Classic, Lakewood WA- Home regatta
**Oct. 31st:  Portland Fall Classic, Portland, OR
**Nov. 7th:  Head of the Lake, Seattle WA (select varsity crews only)

**Nov. 8th- Last day of Fall Practice
**Nov. 11th- Fall Season Banquet, at the CBRC Boathouse 7pm.

Commencement Bay is seeking a boys and girls novice coach for the Fall Season 2010.  The juniors novice team practices Monday-Friday 3:30-5:30pm.  Our Fall Season begins the beginning of September and runs through mid November.

Applicants must have experience in competitive rowing or coxing, coaching experience is a plus.  Attendance at practice and the 4 weekend regattas we attend in the spring is mandatory.

We are looking for individuals who are positive, encouraging and supportive, with the ability to lead our high school athletes to their full potential.
